Broken Z10 Sim tray, since 2 months no help in sight!!

Hey guys,

I need help. My Z10's Sim Tray is broken, because of using an NanoSim to MicroSim adapter. A microsim slot pin is broken

Actually nobody can help. I've asked several repair service shops etc.

And they couldnt find any replacement pars

so my z10 is just here for show. really bad! really really bad.

i mean warranty cant handle this, am i right?

isnt there any OFFICIAL bb repair service in GERMANY?

best regard from germany

Even if there is an official repair facility in Germany, the cost to repair your phone would probably outweigh the cost of picking up a good second-hand phone.  I would advise against repairing it in favor of replacing it.

Cheers.  :smileyhappy:

I won't get in to an argument with you but I will say that it's not BlackBerry's fault for the broken pin if you were using an adapter. If the correct SIM card was in place, the pin might still be intact.

I'm sorry for the condition of your phone. I still say replacing it might be cheaper than trying to fix it but ask around and you might find what you're looking for as far as a repair shop goes.

I don't see why people are always looking for for argument when kind people are using their free time to help them out!

I feel pity of all of your worst situation. Thank God. I was about to do the same u all have done! In right time, God has given me oppertunity to read your post. Now I am aware. I don't want to waste nearly 750$ just to save 1$ in getting SIM replacement from carrier. Thanks to all!!
