Call log not working

Since sometime yesterday morning 12th Sept 2013 none of the calls I have received/made/missed have been recorded in the call log of my BB Z10 (running on O.S. 10.1.0.4181).

 

Has anyone had the same issue or has my 2 yr old son selected I setting I can't find. Anyone's help would be appreciated.

All of the call logs are deleted, or just some?

 

Has your two year old son had possession of your Z10?

 

ALSO >> You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.

Nothing has been recorded since yesterday morning. All past calls up to that point have remained in the log. Thanks for the other assistance too.

Have you received and made calls since Yesterday morning?

 

Can you test this now, from a different line, call your phone and see if it registers in your Call Log?

Or make a call.

I'm currently on a call (so I can't conduct the test), but yes, I have made, received and missed calls in the period since yesterday morning. None of them have registered in the log.

When you get off your current call, please look again.

 

On your screen, is the bottom left tab "Calls" chosen?

Then, in the middle of that screen, do you see two choices "ALL" and "Missed"?

 

Which is chosen?

Off the call. 

 

"CALLS" selected.

 

In both "ALL" and "MISSED" (I selected each one in turn) there is nothing registered since 08:33 and 08:05 yesterday respectively.

Ok.

 

Try restarting your Z10, touch and hold the uppper edge power button for a couple of seconds... then tap the lower right RESTART.

 

See if they appear and start logging now.

The old "turn it off and on again" has worked this time. I thought it would have reset last night after battery depletion but obviously not. No records between then and now but logging calls from this point forward. Thanks for simplifying.

Try not to deplete your battery past 10%, it's not good for these Li-ion batteries.
