Re: Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone # on BB Z10)

Hello!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB33685 Caller ID does not show associated contact when country code is included in phone number
  • KB34577 Caller ID shows incorrect contact information for incoming calls and calls placed from the call log go to a different phone number than intended
  • KB04903 Caller's information does not display on the Incoming Call screen on the BlackBerry smartphone

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone # on BB Z10)

Sorry reply not usefull.

the 1st one have no solution from blackberry.

the last one have no solutions for z10 adn os 10 system.

i have understand that the problems depends for the set of instruction of the carrier.

bb has different settings depending for form the carrier and my carrier do not support it.

this is really unbeliveble that happed in 2013!!!!!!!

the os10 is not usefull if carrier not support!!!!

the same issue i have discovered let change the battery usage...if i use with some sim card in one coutry battery is longer. if not supported battery is extremely shorter.

I'm sorry that providing you with all of the available information of which I am aware was not useful. But, nevertheless, those KBs are all that I am aware of...you, of course, are always free to search on your own to see if you can find additional information. And, of course, you will be kind enough to share it here with others so that they too can benefit from your activities?
