Uhhh...sorry, but that's confusing. Earlier, you said your wife's iPhone could NOT properly see all of the photos...now you say that it can. So I am quite confused, and concerned that I've not been able to properly conduct tests that would attempt to replicate your situation.
Please understand that trying to help at an internet-distance depends heavily on accurate information posted...when the information keeps changing like this, it's kind of like whiplash. Maybe you did something different before this most recent post but neglected to mention it???
In any event, I agree that hopefully it was an isolated case.
Occam's Razor nearly always applies when troubleshooting technology issues!
