Try this link.  I was unable to transfer anything from my old phone and after using this id did after several tries get it done. One thing is they give you a link to update the old desktop software.  Make sure you do this.  Even though I had the latest it didn't work until I did the download.

 

I have spent 8 hours doing this and I now have my contacts etc

i checked again and the encryption option is not there for me. i am sure about it.

Am still waiting for any option if available. as my fone is still not showing names of contacts already in my contact list.

Contact your carrier and if they cannot resolve the issue press them for escalate your case to BlackBerry. That is the official support channel.

Agreed. That optin should be available and it could be the culprit.
