Re: Data restoring

Hello Vicious,

Thanks for your quick reply.

But the link you sent doesn't work! But I guess I need to download Blackberry Link first in order to migrate data from my Bold to Z10. I am now downloading it.
Meanwhile, I have few other concerns: I am located in India. I cannot download Whatsapp or Viber or any other such applications in Z10. I was using it in my Bold 9700 and it was working ok. Any help on that?
Also, I cannot bridge my Playbook with Z10 due to the software differences, any help?

Thanks & Regards.

Rajesh

Re: Data restoring

Hello,

Yes I did solve the problem. You only need to download Blackberry Link to your PC and it would prompt you on what to do. Hope you will find it easy.

Re: Data restoring

Hey rajesh_nalinakshan,

Sorry for the delay in replying.

My apologies about the KB article, the correct link should be www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33322

Also check out this KB article regarding not able to install whatsapp on your BlackBerry Z10: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33937

What happens when you try to use BlackBerry Bridge as well?  Have you updated the BlackBerry Bridge software?  I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Data restoring

Hello Vicious,

Thanks for your mail.

Most of the problems are resolved and I'm very happy with my Z10. I still have a problem with Bridging between my playbook and Z10. It's bridged already, but unlike my previous Bold 9700, I cannot see the files inside my Z10 in my playbook. Blackberry Bridge softwares are updated in both the gadgets and it shows they are connected. But I cannot view my emails, pictures, contacts etc., in my playbook that are there in my Z10.

Any solutions?

Thanks & Regards,

Rajesh

Re: Data restoring

Hey rajesh_nalinakshan,

Thanks for the reply.

You will not be able to view contacts or emails on the BlackBerry PlayBook when using BlackBerry Bridge on BlackBerry 10.

However you can view the files on the BlackBerry Z10.  When paired go to File Manager on the BlackBerry Playbook and click on the BlackBerry symbol at the top and type in the password (if there is one).

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.
