Does not work audio jack (headphones)

The telephone was purchased in August 2013 at the airport in Amsterdam. Upon arrival in Russia, it was found that does not work audio jack (headphones). :smileysad:((( I tried to connect the different headphones, but the sound is played only in the external speakers. Headphones telephone does not recognize it. What to do in this situation? I have the official guarantee for 2 years, but where can I go to Moscow?

Download this app and see if this issue is hardware related. If yes, go to a BlackBerry Registered Vendor and get it fixed. If you've connected different headphones, the the problem is definately with the Phone's hardware. Use the app to confirm it first though.

I've seen several Z10s in which the headphone jack (pin) must be forced into the the port a bit harder... until it slightly snaps.

I did it. But result of this test - Headphones doesnt`t work...:smileysad:

Please do this.

  • Disconnect the headphones.
  • Reboot: On the side edge volume keys, press and hold down both of the Up and Down volume keys for about 20 seconds, ignoring the initial screenshot message... the screen will go black and reboot.
  • Again, connect the headphones, giving enough pressure to feel the click that the headphones are plugged in fully.
  • Try them again.

Thank you but it didn`t help... 

One moment: when I connect headphones I hear a sound like "click" in headphones. Is it mean that audio jack works? But how many times I have tried to connect it on and off, the problem still remains: the music reproduces only in the external speakers.

You can try calling BlackBerry technical support and getting it replaced... it's not gonna be easy.
