Email Issues, Is ANYONE from Blackberry listening?

I am running the latest software release 10.0.10.90. When replying to some emails or composing new emails I get a error sending message ' Protocol Layer was unable to send a message'. What does that mean? It is truly frustrating and I am on the verge of ditching Blackberry and moving to another smartphone brand. I have had the phone since its release its release in the UK and I have yet to see any improvements with any of the software upgrades.

Can someone p[lease resolve this issue ASAP?!!!

gmail, hotmail, yahoo email, your ISP?

 

what type POP, IMAP or Exchange Active Sync?

I have gmail and 1&1 isp both on imap. Both are inconsistent when sending emails.

Right, but does it address your issue?

 

If so, it might be time to contact your Vodafone support and refer to this KB article and ask them to escalate the issue for you to BlackBerry technical support. You will be given an incident number for followup.

I too have had this issue. Using POP all outgoing emails do not work and haven't in the 5 days I've had the phone. Reported to ATT and the response was they see many with the same issue but no fix appears to be coming. They suggested I contact Blackberry directly.

Not productive for me to echo others' frustration but I hope this is being addressed, otherwise the device is of no use to me.
