How do I setup groups for text messaging as I don't see an option in the z10

Currently you can add multiple contacts to an SMS message but adding a group is not available.

Will this function become available in the near future?  One of the benefits of previous BBs was "Group Contacts" so that multiple texts could be sent to a group in one quick hit.  Or is there another way to do this on the Z10?

Thanks for the question.

You can add multiple contacts to an SMS message on the BlackBerry Z10 and the conversation will be saved under Text Messages and you can start up the coversation at any time as long as that saved Text Message is there.

But to add a physical group into a SMS message is not available and no estimated time when this issue will be resolved.

Thanks for the reply but not really what I wanted too hear as it is a really useful feature I haven't tried it for bbm yet but I think I know what will happen when I try it.

Not sure if this was missed or intentional, but there seem to be quite a few business like features that have been removed.

The ability to send out broadcast messages by selecting all contacts at once and now this ability to create contact groups and message/text them all at once

Both of which I use frequenlty if not daily

Please add this feature - it was so useful to be able to text my whole football team when the games were off. Can't be a difficult thing to add on!!

I agree with these folks. I used the group text feature on my old BB many times daily. We really need to get this added.

Wow! I'm blown away that BB/RIM excluded all the functions us BB users loved about our previous BB devices.

I don't get it!!!

I mean, if we already Loved our BBs bcuz of All the features we had available, WHY the heck did BB/RIM get rid of these once loved features & Add features that none of us Love????

They should've Kept all of our Old Awesome features & just added their New features to go with what we Already had!!!!

Sure hope BB/RIM Re-Adds ALL of our Old Features Back into these New Devices they're coming out with.

It just Doesn't make sense!!!

It's almost as though BB/RIM Forgot Who they Are & What we Loved about them. It's like they are trying2 be Somebody Else by almost Copying what Other companys have & Forgetting to Keep what they had & were Loved For!!! We Loved BB for BB not bcuz we Wanted BB to be like everyone else. Go Back To Being BB & Make your New BBs like the Old BBs but just Add Newer to them! DON'T Cut Out the Functions we Loved sooo much.....
