Ever since the 10.1 update I am not getting text message notifications in the HUB. The only way for me to know if I have received a new text message is to go to the conversation and look. This is very annoying because I am missing text messages from people that I either do not have an open conversation with or haven't had text communication with recently. Also, certain HUB notification will not delete and I cannot mark them as read.
I have tried restoring the phone to factory default, pulling the battery etc. nothing works. The only thing that sometimes works is to reset the HUB by swiping down from the top right corner five times, but this still does not work all the time. Also, refreshing the HUB does nothing.
Please address this soon as I cannot continue to use a Blackberry that doesn't work. I will most definitely be switching back to IOS or andriod is this isn't resolved soon.

Thanks for the question. Can you please confirm the full version of software the you have installed on your BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone?
- Swipe down from main screen
- Select "Settings -> About"
- OS version is listed on this page
Also verify that the option to display text messages is enable in your Hub Management options:
- From the HUB select menu key "three vertical dots"
- Select "Settings ->Hub Management ->"
- Ensure the toggle switch is in the "ON" position for Text Messages.

The software version is 10.1.0.273
Text messages are turned on in the NUB, i'm not a newb when it comes to technology lol.
As I said, the problem is intermittent. If I perform a reset of the HUB it sometimes works to get the notifications but most times it does not. I have to go into the individual text conversations to check if I have a new message fromt he person. When I compose a new text message with a recipient that doesn't have an open conversation when new text message does not even show up in the list of text messages. I have to perform a reset of the HUB several times to get it to show up.

I appreciate your suggestion but it is not just one contact I am having this problem with. It is all text messages regardless of if I have the number in my contacts at all or not.

I am having the EXACT SAME problem with my blackberry hub after updating to OS 10.1.0.273. My Hub is not showing any notifications (facebook, sms, etc). It only works after I restart my phone or reset the hub, but only for a few minutes. I tried to do a security wipe and hard resets but to no avail.
Whenever there is a new SMS message, I wouldn't be able to know since there are no notifications, my only way is through checking my previous conversation. And sometimes, if a new text message would come in, my phone would not be able to detect it especially if there are no previous conversation with the sender. I think this is a critical issue for OS 10.1.0.273 and needs to be resolved ASAP. Blackberry z10 user

Hopefully blackberry technical advisors can help us with this, it defeats the purpose of the blackberry hub, or should I say, the purpose of having a phone if we can't see any notifications or even recieve sms messages at all!
