Can someone try to explain to me why my Hotmail emails are synced almost instantly, yet my Hosted Exchange emails take quite a few minutes longer to sync? It can take 5 minutes or more for my Exchange emails to come in (via Exchange ActiveSync).
I'm having trouble getting my head around how my free email account is essentially providing a superior experience for me in terms of sync times.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
It is possible for some ActiveSync connections to take up to 15 minutes to check for email. Also Hotmail has a notify feature that makes it seem like it is instant.

"Hotmail has a notify feature that makes it seem like it is instant."
What does that mean? That it just seems like Hotmail is faster, but for some reason it isn't in reality?
The way you phrased that implies that Hotmail just gives an illusion of being faster. I'm pretty sure it's about 10x faster than Exchange ActiveSync on my Z10.
It doesn't just seem faster- it is faster.

Why the same exchange mail works fine on iphone and samsung galaxy then?
What's going on here?
