My apologies if I led anyone astray. The VM-605 does not need to be in the truck to operate. Just near the phone. But the only place I use it is in the truck. It is not a vehicle issue, but a VM-605 bluetooth or Z10 phone issue.

You can enter the BT profile for my car on the Z10 by long pressing. However when you enter the profile there is nothing in it other than the device address.
It should have options for the services provided but it does not.
BlackBerry Helpdesk is about as much use a chocolate teapot at present. it takes them 3 days to respond messages when I reply to theirs.
What I can't understand is that after they have paired and been disconnected, when I return to the car, the phone can see the car and the car can see the phone but they will not reconnect.

During the upgrade OS. Many apps where also upgraded. I resolved my BlueTooth issue by removing the headless version of Say It app. My phone syncs properly with my Ford F150 Now. I hope this helps.

I've tried the long press when paired and not paired, no options either way.
My wife's volvo has the options both ways, but my merc doesn't
Whilst I'm not a developer I'm pretty capable when it comes to technology and problem solving

Good Job I wasn't holding out for help from the official BlackBerry Help
So this is the message exchange:
@BlackBerryHelp - Did the issue start after the software update, or did the issue started before? Does the device pair fine with other Bluetooth devices? ^OR
Me - Issue only started after update to 10.2.1 had a look on forums as well i'm not the only Mercedes owner having issue. Connects fine 2 other devices
I've had the z10 since launch and it's worked fine for over a year until now
@BlackberryHelp - Could you please provide us with your BlackBerry PIN via DM to investigate? Here's how you can find it: .^AG
Me - Sent them the PIN, nothing done??
@BlackBerryHelp - Have you tried deleting the Bluetooth profile from your device and from your car and establishing the connection once again? ^AG
Me - Yes several times including a full reset of my cars bluetooth system
@BlackBerryHelp - Thank you for reaching out to us. Please contact your car manufacturer for further assistance on this regard. Do not hesitate to contact
