Re: Most contacts showing twice in my contacts list ? Z10

Having the same problem. Dozens more are experiencing it (from other forums) all related to Gmail contacts. Gmail shows up correct but the contacts are duplicated on Z10. You can delete them and they come right back. We need a fix for this problem.

I'll chime in that I'm having the same problem, and yes, I use Gmail.  Definately seems like the device's automatic sync to the user Gmail contacts is the source of the problem.

It's not a huge issue, but it's annoying.  Looking forward to the fix!

Re: Most contacts showing twice in my contacts list ? Z10

ok, from bad to worse...

After chatting with Telus technical support, I deleted Gmail Contacts from accounts on my Blackberry.

1) It removed ALL gmail contacts from the device; some contacts linked to other contacts (Facebok, Linkedin, manual records) are gone as well

2) It removed a big chunk of my contacts from GMAIL contacts - I had about 900 records in my Gmail contacts, now there are 600 records

Is there any way to contact Blackberry?

Yes! Call Telus, and get the issue ESCALATED to BlackBerry technical support. You will be given an incident number for BlackBerry support reference. Telus is known to be pig headed about escalating issue to BlackBerry, so you may need to demand it.
