I don't know for sure about Tasks, but as Ty said a month ago, a version of Link with full two way sync will be a few months off.

I am in shock - picked up my Z10 yesterday and was looking forward to the Outlook sync that i need for a standalone PC. Now that i realize i cannot do it, its is going back - back to the depths of Droid.
It was a nice 20 hours but shame, shame on RIM.

GeorgeWK, Sorry to see you leave so quickly.
This thread is out of date.
The Link software WILL now transfer Contacts and Calendar to your Z10, one way.
Two -way sync is coming.

thanks. I reacted and posted before finding out the one way data import feature was added. I will stick around for a little while.... and continue to demand the 2 way sync with Outlook that i came back to Bberry for! Still very much in shock though.

George,
Well worth sticking with it, I lived thru the early phase without even the one way transfer & it's proven to be very worth it. I think I have one of every device OS on the planet now but I'm spending most of my time on the Z10, really is a great tool & a great toy!

I do hope it will be worth sticking with, thank you for the support! I think i had a sudden and severe Newton flashback.
Actually, the Z10's screen and speed on a non-glitchy Storm 1 would be a happy place for me. :-)

Import Stories: The import of 1300 contacts went without an error, but i had some errors on many contacts and so decided to correct / delete a bunch within Outlook. I then deleted all contacts on the Z10 (which was a 1/2 hr pain, Droid has a select-all choice). I re-imported the contacts to the Z10 and found that I am missing several conctacts on the phone. Interestingly, they are people with the same first and last name. BLink loads one, and not the second. In one case, the middle initial differentiates but still the second does not get imported.
I hope Blackberry can fix the import and sync to accomodate those of us who work with more than one Mike Smith :-(
I am now leaning towards returning it; still have a full week to trial. This is just too frustrating trying to get work done with the other options around.
BTW: "Contacts Sync" between Outlook and Google handles the sames names that have different middle initials ( perhaps because of a middle initial?), however also has an issue with duplicates.
