I'm loving the z10 and many of the apps. However, recently, I can't load certain apps that were working fine before.
For example, the songza app keeps "waiting for connection". Word hero says "no connenction, unable to play"
8tracks also does not work.
Previously, all these apps were working great on wifi and on the regular network. Other apps, like globe and mail, cbc, thescore all are working.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried both and unfortunately they didn't work.
I also tried uninstalling the apps that weren't working and re-installing them, that didn't work either. It's weird that some basic apps work and some others don't.
I'll keep trying different things, but if anyone knows how to fix this, I'm stummped.

I've called my carrier and sent emails to the developers, but it seems weird to me that more than one app is having this issue. My initial guess is that its just a setting that got changed that affects an apps ability to connect via wifi, but I have no idea what it is and it's very frustrating.
I'm running out of ideas...

I have the exact same issue.
Songza/8Tracks/Waze all do not work.
I've tried everything.
It's extremely annoying, I've contacted the devs and they don't know what the problem is either.
It fails to work on WiFi and on the Rogers network. Any help would be great.

I still have had no success. At least there are others experiencing the same issue.
The apps that stopped working for me are:
- 8 Tracks
I think it may have occured after I did the last update. I'm running OS 10.0.10.85
Is it possible that another app is somehow blocking wifi/internet access? Although, it seems weird that other apps work fine and these don't.
