No names shown for incoming or outgoing calls whilst in Work Space

Hi, I have a couple of Z10 devices connected to a trial BES10.  Contacts are pulled down through an Active Sync connection to our Exchange environment.  When making or receiving a call from any of these work contacts, the device only shows the number.  Name information is only displayed for a contact that has been added locally to the device.  I have tried all the Smart Dialling settings/battery pulls etc and cannot get this working.  Any suggestions out there please?

How long has the device been syncing with your Exchange?

 

Sometimes, it can take several hours for the sync to complete and for the names to be visible in calls.

 

also:  Caller ID does not show associated contact when country code is included in phone number

Thanks for your reply.  This has been an issue all the way through a 60 day trial.  I understand there is a KB article concerning the country code issue, but to never show a name is not correct.  I was hoping the device OS upgrade to 10.1 would fix it.  I am in the process of upgrading to BES10.1, but don't believe this will have any impact.

I can tell how another user has fixed this issue.

 

In your contacts, give each phone number two entries, one WITH the country code, and a duplicate of that phone number without the country code.

 

That's only a workaround, but you might try it on a couple of contacts and see how it works for you.
