No volume after software update

Hi

Ive lost my volume, no ringtone, no alarm nothing.

I did try and find the same problem in other threads, as per the advice given I have no active connections (bluetooth etc) and did try the obvious reboot and battery removal.

I updated my software to version 10.1.0.273 and experienced the problem thereafter, Im sure if that is merely a coincedence.

I obviously checked all the volume settings.

Please assist.

Thanks

Nashrene

Re: No volume after software update

If you navigate to your Settings > Notificaitons and edit one of your alerts, say for SMS or Messages, use test the "Try It"  feature, does the audible alert work?

Re: No volume after software update

Oh yea there is not "try it" button.

So, When you go to Settings > Notifications > Text messasges, change a tone to a different one.

Do you hear the sound?

Hi

So this morning my alarm goes off (with volume) for the first time in 4 days. I didnt reboot, didnt change anything the volume all of sudden just came back.
