Old subject same problem-losing numbers

My contacts keep losing names or vanishing until battery pull. They come back for a few hours and then the same problem occurs . How do I stop this...?

What version of BlackBerry 10 device software are you currently using?  Go to Settings>About to find this information.  Do you synchronize your contacts with your email accounts?  Also are you setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?

Hey hey thanks for responding. I'm using version 10.1.4181 on the z10 The numbers are sync'd with email addresses also. I am not set up on the enterprise server

My co-worker was having a similar problem until I shut off the SIM I think. I remember it having to do with a SIM setting anyway. She never had trouble again.

Thanks for the reply.

 

Are you noticing the caller ID names are not appearing randomly?  

 

I would suggest checking to see if any of the contacts are linked to other accounts and unlink them.  Follow the steps in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33254

 

Let me know if the issue still persists after performing that step.
