On-screen controls not very responsive

I've noticed this in a few places, but a couple spring to mind :-

The Back button that appears in some settings windows (bottom left). Often I have to press this 3 or 4 times before it will go back.

Answering the phone. The dialog tells me to swipe down, but it often takes 3 or more swipes before it actually answers the call.

Re: On-screen controls not very responsive

Hello mfarmilo,

To better assist you with this I have a couple questions:

Does this happen with all calls that are received?

What is the battery level when you are having these problems?

Have you tried rebooting the BlackBerry smartphone by holding down the bottom on the top of the BlackBerry smartphone and selecting restart?

Thanks.

Hi - yes, this happens on all calls. Problems were so numerous that I've passed the phone to a colleague who's giving it another try out, just to see if it's simply me. He too is experiencing the same thing with answering calls, and yes the phone has been rebooted numerous times - plus a security wipe before passing it to him. As I said it's not just answering calls though, it's other on-screen controls too. Swiping to unlock sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries, the Back button I mentioned takes several tries. Also, on password entries, I've often tried using the 'eye' marker to show the password, and it's never yet done anything.

Re: On-screen controls not very responsive

Similar issues here on my Z10, most noticable are swipe down call answer and red hang up button. So far!!

Other issue is rotate screen is sluggish, but I am comparing  to my wifes Iphone.

Wake up, homescreen and hub swipes are fine... very smooth eye pleasing transition, as is back button.

Re: On-screen controls not very responsive

Thanks, but the phone will be going back as I've decided it's not fit for purpose.
