PINS

Hi there,

Can you please help, I can no longer receive pin messages.

BBM works fine and I know that I cannot send pins but when I first got my blackberry early Feb. I was receiving them and it randomly stopped.

When I check my hub, I do not see the notifications tab... I have emails, bbm, facebok, linkedin etc but no notifications???

I've tested this with friends who can send pins and my Z10 will ring as if I received something but I can't find the actual pin anywhere...

PLEASE HELP....

thx

Re: PINS

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Odd...please try resetting the Hub...with the Hub open, swipe down diagnoally (from top right to bottom left) 5 times.

If that fails, please try a normal battery pop reboot.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: PINS

Hi needbbhelp,

Welcome to the support community!

What is the full version of BlackBerry Device Software you currently have? Have you upgraded your software since this feature was previously showing?

I look forward to your response.

Re: PINS

Hi there,

So I tried what you suggested and I still don't see the notifications section in the Hub.

I also tried removing the battery several times and still no go...

Any other suggestions please?

This is the main tool our management team uses to communicate and really need this to work...

thanks

Re: PINS

**************** FOUND SOLUTION***************

If anyone has problems RECEIVING pins on their Z10, here is the solution...

I had to back up my device on the bb link and then I did a security swipe. Once that done, I had to pop out m y battery and put it back in -

Once that it done, you need to reset your emails, bbm, facebook etc. You will notice that the notification tabs is back in the HUB.

I've asked a friend to send me a pin and FINALLY IT WAS RECEIVED!!!

Not the best way to go about it but this was my final option and it WORKED!!
