Password program is unresponsive

I was getting the multiple password error, although I am certain it was the right password. But the password program is stuck at 6/10 tries.  Since my phone is backed up on the computer, I entered the 'blackberry' word to reset it but this does not get any response either. 

I have re-started the phone a number of times with no result and connected to the computer with no result.  On the desktop application it also asks for a password and when I type one in it becomes unresponsive.

The phone is still receiving texts and bbms and for a moment I can see them before the screen fades and the password program comes up at the same spot.

Can't figure out how to get out of this loop. Any suggestions?

See your other thread, then Restore the latest Backup.
