Pause in telephone number string

I am trying to insert a pause in a string of telephone numbers, such as entering a password, etc.  I have tried the PAUSE button on the keyboard to no avail.  Any thoughts?

Re: Pause in telephone number string

Is the pause or wait not working for you when you create a contact phone number. I have been using this feature in some of my contacts and working great. You might have to enter 2 pauses before entering the extension etc..

Re: Pause in telephone number string

Thanks for your quick response.  When I hit the pause button it puts a "p" in the number string; but, when I go to use it, it is not recognized.  Puzzling!!!!, but love my Z10

Re: Pause in telephone number string

Simple test you can do to see if yours is working. Create a voicemail2 contact. Dial you mobile number, enter the pause, then enter your password..  You might have to do two pauses or pause and wait combination based on the number you are calling. Some numbers have a long recorded message before you can enter the extension.  The "p' is correct..
