Power off - Alarm not working...

I set my alarm (like on my Bold) to get up in the morning.  I switched off the Z10 and..I wake up with the alarm of my BB Bold (which was still active).  Only when I switched on my Z10 the alarm would go off.

Can I set it up so that the alarm function works even if the phone is powered off?

Thanks!

(PS I guess I can always keep my BB Bold as an alarm clock :smileywink:

Re: Power off - Alarm not working...

You need to use the Bedside Mode.

Once you set the Alarm... swipe down from the top bezel and activate the Bedside Mode.

Re: Power off - Alarm not working...

Thank you.  The Bed Side mode does indeed work.

If you switch to this mode will the battery then go into some kind of power saving mode?  Do you know?  The key thing of switching the phone off is to preserve the battery for the next day which you really need with these touch creen phones.

Thanks!

Yes, bedside mode reverts to a low power mode and turns off notifications.
