Q10 software release OS update

[ Edited ]

I received a message via the hub this evening from Blackberry saying that I needed to update my OS software, which I did. I have now lost all my text messages!

I've had the BBQ10 for three months now. All my iphone/Samsung friends have made fun about me choosing Blackberry over iphones etc. I must say, so far from my experience and with this evenings deleting of my text messages, they are all correct. I would never buy a blackberry again. Someone please restore my faith in Blackberry.

Any help to get my text messages back would be good please.

Oh and to add to my woe, the blackberry link software is supposed to backup my bbq10 each time I plug in the bb via the data cable. It hasn't done this so my backups are now well over a month old and therefore Ive lost lots of important information.

yes please, a "one month old" back up restore is better than nothing for me.

Re: Q10 software release OS update

Connect to Link > after the Q10 connects to Link > click the upper right hand gear icon.

In the left hand pane, you should see the Restore button, click that and proceed with your most recent backup.
