REMOVING ALL CONTACTS (Outlook synchronisation)

Now that the updated BlackBerry Link which allows for (so far, one way) synchronisation with Outlook is available, I'd like to clear all the existing contacts on my boss's BlackBerry Z10 before adding the Outlook contacts.

Could anyone advise me if there's a simple way to do this? I dread the thought of pressing 'delete' 3,500 times!

Many thanks!

Re: REMOVING ALL CONTACTS (Outlook synchronisation)

Right now, as far as I know, the only way to do this is the security wipe the device.

Re: REMOVING ALL CONTACTS (Outlook synchronisation)

Presumably that would mean that ALL information (emails, texts, call logs etc etc) would also be wiped? :Helpsmilie:

Yes.

Do a backup of the device first, using the Link desktop software.

BUT, I am inquring of a friend who has done this to see if there is a less invasive method.

Thank you - much appreciated! I daren't do a security wipe yet in any case - the boss could end up very cross indeed!

Re: REMOVING ALL CONTACTS (Outlook synchronisation)

That's fine if I can't do it till after the weekend - I'm sure my boss would rather soldier on with his 3.5k un-updated contacts than risk ending up with 7k or losing the lot! Many thanks for all your help so far ...
