The local Srint Store in Colorado was totally in the dark about BB10. Someone should clue them in. Or maybe I did when I embarrassed the "phone specialist"

Hopefully they will be receiving their training shortly. I just got my Z10 and I love it already! I think once the store employees get the devices in store, their tune will change.

Does BB have a public explanation for the delayed release by US carriers? I am reading some of the Crackberry forums and US BB users are extremely frustrated. I can't believe that the US testing requirements are any more stringent than in the UK or Canada. BB should use this consumer frustration to pressure US wireless carriers to deliver otherwise it will be a tremendous blow to the launch of BB10. The line was already developing today; new name, but the same old RIM when it comes to execution......

I see the execution really better all across the world except in the USA

UK subscribers can buy the Z10 in 6 hours for instance. But maybe it's because BlackBerry is still #1 over there among young people, and because some shops there sell more PlayBooks than the new iPad.
Could this be a reward for loyalty?

Agreed. And foot dragging by US carriers in the home of Apple.

This is solely the carriers making this decision. The device is ready to go. It sounds to me simply like the US carriers are taking a little bit of a wait and see approach. And unfortunately, it's the US BlackBerry fans that are getting hurt by it. But this is not BlackBerry's fault. This is a carrier issue.
