Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

@ssbtech. Set up all the network folders through that one pc running link.

@archangeljp. That's a good request then. Direct smb/cifs support through the file manager.

If I understand what you're asking, I do this right now through BlackBerry Link. Downside is BlackBerry Link is too buggy and it only works 50% of the time.

You think that's even 5% factual? Smiley Happy

My Link works fine about 98% of the time...

anyway, this is a "Feature Request" thread... please keep discussion in another thread.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

It's fact for ssbtech and I. How often are you accessing folders on your pc through link? Half of the time the pc is offline even though link is running.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

And BlackBerry10 devices do stream media.

I don't know what this user says that streaming is not working.

A bad experience or PEBKAC for one user does not mean it doesn't work for all others.

Again, incorrect. Mine is only offline about 4% of the time.

Since we're making up numbers.

Re:Streaming media etc.

[ Edited ]

You can be very condescending at times and there's no need to be. You need to not only read what's written but also make sure you comprehend it as well. At no point did I say BlackBerry 10 devices don't stream media. Before picking apart comments (trolling), (comments which btw lead to valid feature requests), try to stream a large video file on your phone using link and time it. It works, but to your satisfaction?

Your contributions to this community are definitely valued but seeing as how you're a blackberry user not a smartphone user I realize that discussion about some problematic features may be over your head.

blah, you're having a bad Thanksgiving? I'm sorry.

So, you resort to personal attacks. Why?

I am only combatting your false statements. I didn't call you any names or judge your personality.

This is no longer a "feature request" discussion. No big deal, it can be moved from this thread.

If you feel I am being condescending, your facts are wrong, that's all.

duh, lemme think about that. If I drive a car to work, does that not make me an automobile user?

Since when is using a BlackBerry not using a smartphone?

Now who is being condescending?
