Sync service for account is not available active sync error code 403

Hi 

 

I am trying to configure my corp. Microsoft mail using Microsoft Active Sync in my new z10, I am entering the info correct but I am getting error "sync service for account is not available activesync error code 403".

 

The same setting worked Perfectly fine in my previous Blackberry torch 9860 and working fine my office mates android OS & Nokia lumia 620.

 

Why it not working z10 alone?

Yes...

Your 9860 dont use Active Sync.
please check with this website, if activesync is setup correct:

oh :No: I am Getting bellow error it means i don't have access is it?

your mailbox is not activated for active sync.

Hi

 

Thanks for the helping me to identify the issue.

 

But I have tested one of my office mate mail box who works with me for him also have the same error. He configured in his Android OS mobile with Mircosoft Activsync he is receiving the mails without any issue.

 

What is the technology that the Blackberry have which block configure.

Are you adding the Device directly with EAS or via a BES10 ?

Hi

 

I am adding the Device directly with EAS, My corp don't provide BES access for me. Also my corp don't provide access via pop / imap.

 

I thought I can configure my corp mail like the way i did in previous device torch 9860 :'(

when your company opened EAS for your account - i dont know why you have problems...
