HELP! I need to delete my current blackberry ID and create a new one to start afresh due to a previous mishap/mess/tragedy.
But when I click the option "If you did not create or do not recognize this account, please click here to delete this BlackBerry ID." which is provided to me in the initial email i got in 2011 when i created my ID;it does not work. It says :
"This ID cannot be deleted"...what should i do?
P.S. I have security wiped my device and tried deleting my ID from my PC through the initial email i recieved while creating the ID....still it gave me the same error.
I guess my issue is not reaching to the required bb support personnel...i dont have another choice too as there is no other support forum for Blackberry ID specifically.

Actually its a little long story..i was having problems with my new Z10 10.1 OS updated software....so i read a few blogs where it told me to factory reset everything...security wipe the device which might solve the "other data" problem as well which takes up unnecesary data...it infact did and everything was sorted until i had to restore my backup file which i had taken before resetting my phone....so i contacted my support center and they suggested me to delete my ID and create a new one with the same email address as i had tried all the other options...name it and i have tried...woof...so yea....i went on and tried deleting the ID with the link provided...but it isnt working....

Seems like a lot of work & you don't need to delete your old ID but if you like to start fresh because you believe so then you can do what I posted above or create a new BBID I posted the link above.

hi...what you suggested me was exactly my first step....i opened the initial email i got back in 2011 while creating my blackberry ID....from there i clicked "here" where it said to delete...but it redirected me to the bb page saying 'this id cannot be deleted"

Rob and I will assist. Just to confirm, you're ok with deleting the ID?

and the saw these bullet points.
I'm thinking if you recreate a new ID with the same email address this information will still be lost. I see the support center advised you to delete the ID? This is through your carrier? Not sure why they recommended that. If you still want to try with the deletion, of course we will help you! thanks for your patience with this.
