I'm based in California but from the UK, so have to make a lot of appointments in GMT. As per normal, when I add an event in GMT it puts it in the local time. However, it seems to put Pacific time appointments at -7 instead of -8 and it's really messing things up. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix? My device is set o Pacific -8. The issue only seems to occur when adding events.

To clarify, under Settings>Date and Time your Time Zone is set to Pacific (-8) yet when you go to your Calendar and make an appointment using GMT, the time difference is 7 hours, not 8?

Are you syncing your Calendar with another source, such as Gmail or an Exchange account? If so, did you confirm that program has the proper time zone with Daylight Savings enabled?

Yes, that's correct.

I am syncing with Google Calendar. But when I create events on there and it syncs with my BlackBerry there's no problem. It's only when I create the event on the BlackBerry...

Did you check to ensure Daylight Savings was enabled on your Google Calendar?

To ensure I comprehend the issue - events you create on your BlackBerry are 1 hour off on your Gmail Calendar?

There is no daylight savings option in Googel Calendar, only a timezone option which is set to GMT + 0:00.

The issue is when I create events on my BlackBerry. My BlackBerry is set to Pacific - 8:00. When I create an event on my BlackBerry in GMT, though, it sets it to -7 instead of -8.

Events created on google calendar itself have no issue.
