No matter what settings I choose, after deleting Twitter notifications from the Hub, a short time later, they reappear! Doesn't happen for any other type of notification.
Any clues?

Do you mean that after deleting a notification, it returns again as new?

Yes - I delete the notifications from within the Hub, but after a while (apparently random) they reappear. There is a block of 20 notifications that were imported when I first configured my account that I can't get rid of.
Thinking about uninstalling Twitter and starting again. It's a bit odd.

Yes, I would do that. The native twitter app is sorta buggy, and I do expect it to be updated soon.
I am finding the twitter app "Neatly" to be pretty good with many more features.

Agree - just need the full functionality like DM etc - deleted and installed 10.0.0.36. Will report back if problem persists

OK. The twitter experiment begins. Deleted Twitter account from the Hub, deleted app and reinstalled. Twitter immediately loaded 20 most recent notifications to the Hub, which have now been deleted.
Will they reappear?

I am having the same issue, the app keeps restoring my notifications, it is a bug. My workaround is to delete all of them and just keep one notification, at least the other ones do not come back. I would rather see tweets in the hub and not notifications, I hope they fix the Twitter app soon.

OK. The Twitter experiment result is: after deleting/reinstalling Twitter and clearing all the Twitter notifications, approximately 1 hour later Twitter delivered my last 20 notifications back to the Hub!
My only conclusion is that Twitter has a personality disorder and doesn't wan't to be forgotten?

I don't know that this would help, but try deleting the Twitter app and reinstalling it.
Then, delete those notification again.
I know reinstalling has helped some user with other twitter issues.

Can I ask how you deleted the account from the HUB ?? I've deleted the app but it still appears in the HUB and notifications are still showing up even after deleting the app itself !
