Two issues with the Z10

Hi, I recently got a Z10 and I really like it.

Two Issues though:

1) Facebook. The facebook app worked okay unti about 24h ago. When i open the app, i get this error message: "There was a problem connecting to Facebook. please check your connection and try again.

I did not alter anything, the connection settings are the same as it has always been.

I tried: batterypulls, rebooting, reinstalling. No luck.

I even installed the 10.0.10.99 software. No luck.

2) Browser. With Facebook not working, I tried to access the FB site. When I opened the browser, I only got a blank screen. No access to browsing history or bookmarks, not even an address bar. I can open links sent to me, but I cannot navigate to other sites.

I tried: batterypulls, rebooting, freeing up some space on the memory. No luck

I am posting here out of sheer frustration and desperation. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Rutger, are you getting emails currently?
Does BBMessenger work?
Is the RIM BlackBerry logo showing at the top right of your home screen?

Re: Two issues with the Z10

Just to suggest to check, do you have internet access with the phone to start with?  Try visiting other sites with the phone browser to verify internet access.

If you do not have the net, go in to the setup under Network and verify the settings are turned on for the mobile network and data. To reset them, you can toggle them off, and then on again.

I don't think he can go to other sites with the browser.

Re: Two issues with the Z10

The Browser is basically just a blank screen, I can't navigate to any sites. I can only open links sent to me e.g. via twitter or BBM.

Ok, good.

Have you done a reboot, powered on, battery out, and leave the battery out for a full five minutes?

Yes, I have. To no avail, though.

Re: Two issues with the Z10

I'm thinking the phone does not have internet access. Can you check with your service provider for them to verify the phone's internet access?
