Unable to update / cancel update

HI ..

 

I just got my z10 2 days ago and was prompted for updates to Version 10.0.10.82. I tried twice and both failed during Stage 2 (installation). It would then give me a message that "The software download was interrupted. Please try again."

 

The first time i was able to click on the "Cancel Update" and re-try the update. However, for the second time that the error message was shown again as above, i was not able to click on "Cancel Update" . The button "Cancel Update" is not responding at all. 

 

Anyone with such problem?

Can you make sure you are connected to a Wifi router during this upgrade?

And, make sure you are connected to a charger or power source.

Hi Sanders..I tried the recommended and its still the same. 

 

I have the "cancel update" button and its still not responding regardless how many times its clicked. 

 

I even tried restarting my phone and taking off the battery ...none of it works .. >.<

Have you tried to connect to the Link software and forcing the upgrade?

hi sanders..

 

I downloaded the BB Link software and followed the instructions to for Software Updates. However, I'm unable to locate the "Install Update" button. 

 

What I'm trying now is to wipe all of my phone's data. and try the download again.

hi sanders ...manage to update the phone after i wipe the entire data. The update was done via the phone and not BB link.
