Whatsapp for Blackberry Z10, Singapore

Hi Friends,

I read on many forums and news that whatsapp for Blackberry Z10 released last week, But I am not able to download from my phone.

I live in Singapore. I've contacted Blackberry Sg, BBDev, whatsapp regarding this, but no one reply.

Is whatsapp region based, If so, anyone has some answer when it will be available here? Thanks

Friendly,

Chandra

Re: Whatsapp for Blackberry Z10, Singapore

Hey Chan4k,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

What version of BlackBerry 10 device software are you running?  Go to Settings>About to find this information.

Whatsapp requires BlackBerry 10 OS software 10.0.10.648 to run and device software updates are determined by your network service provider.   Go to Settings>Software Updates to check for updates.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: Whatsapp for Blackberry Z10, Singapore

Thanks for your reply. My device is running 10.0.9.2372. Whenever I check for updates it says, I have the latest softwares. I even tried removing SIM card...but still it says I have the latest software. Can any other way? Thanks

You will have to wait until your carrier push out new OS update.
