It should not be up to us to tinker with our phones to get battery life. 

 

How come we do not have battery profiles? Give me a super battery life profile. If i try to use a service that needs location or 3g data... Ask to turn it on. After a timeout period turn it off. 

 

I am on the road with this. Searching and friggin around with an open wifi is not a reasonable option.

 

Dear Blackberry... Put me on payroll. :smileytongue:

 

I do not think i am asking for much. We can put a man on the moon but we can't make a smartphone last all day with a realworld business scenario.

Ok... On a full charge in 3g mode with nfc off, bluetooth off, location services off.... 363mins.

 

I called my wife's cell and set mine beside a radio.

 

So 6 hours. Since i use a bluetooth headset daily i wonder how much that would chip into it.

 

If a company is selling a smartphone with 10hours of talk time then to me it is implied that 3g should be enabled.... To make it smart. 

 

If you have a smart phone with 3g disabled then you don't really have a smartphone.
