Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

I am having the same issue. Constantly forgets gmail and my enterprise passwords. Rogers is not able to fix the problem. They say it is software related. Restore and multiple attempts at deleting and reinstalling email accounts didn't work. Really unacceptable for a phone touted as the best for email.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

I've had the same issue, and it seems to go away with the higher OS upgrades for the Z10, it's coming.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

I took mine back in the end and bought an Android.

Blackberry were as unhelpful as they could possbily be until after I had returned the phone.

Then one of their engineers rang me about the problem so I reported what I could.

I have never had the issue on Android.

Well, I didn't say "fixed", but seems better, less often. I'm on the 10.1 OS release which you should see released by your mobile provider in the next few weeks, but there is no way for anyone to know when Rogers will update.

But in my experience, it is much less often now.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

Really... "less often"? It just seems like such a basic feature that an email client should have...to remember a password. In fact, I don't think I've ever run into a similar problem with any other email client I've ever used on a desktop or mobile platform, including multiple previous BlackBerry incarnations. It really shouldn't take a programming wizard to fix this problem. I sure hope that BB can find a solution that completely fixes it.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

lol, Well, it hasn't in five days. How's that?

I suspect it is not only the Z10.

My business is on GoDaddy email servers. I am on the z10 and another employee on the 9850. Both devices have been affected over the past couple of weeks, but haven't in the past five days.

Same with my gmail, it's asked me several times to update my password.

Anyway, it's not a specific Z10 issue.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

The same happens in my phone... but seems like it might be a bug because even when I don't input my email password again. I keep getting emails.

Re: Z10 Forgets my Email Password...

I had this problem on my Q10 with my own domain based email POP account.

I fixed it by disabling WiFi and resetting the login details over my mobile network (Vodafone).

Its now been good for over a week on mobile data or WiFi.

Hope this helps somone.
