Re: Z10 Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts

I just learned (quite by accident) that to put a single character into upper case (or caps), touch the caps button (arrow up) and then drag your finger across the keyboard to the character you want in upper case.

Or simply tap and hold the letter that you want to put into upper case, there will be a popup showing you the capital letter and possible optional characters that you can use

Go to hub from any place just by swiping from the bottom of the screen to right edge of the screen

Once you read the message or mail , the red blink light will stop. It is just to show you have unread notifications. Dont worry.

I know what you mean...  I have never timed exactly how long the red LED notification light blinks before it stops but no question that after a while it stops blinking whether the messages have been read or not. I've looked in settings and there is no setting for duration, only on or off. There are one or two apps in BlackBerry World that will allow you to change the color and duration of the LED notifications by app and even by contact but I can't say how effective they are as I haven't tried any of them..

That has been the case with the older legacy device BlackBerrys.

Mine doesn't sit long enough to see how long the red light will blink!
