When the signal drops as indicated, do you still see the BlackBerry dots logo next to that signal indicator?

Maybe you don't need to reboot, try swiping down from the top bezel to Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network and turn off and back on your Mobile Network connection.
When you got this z10, did you use an existing SIM card in the device or a brand new SIM card?

Yes i have done that time and time agin (left it on one for one day and tried another the following)
