Z10 video Upload

Hi yal had my Z10 for about 3 months now And have to say nice piece kit works well feels good Not for the negative side Up until recently All my videos would seamlessly upload to YouTube /FaceBook with no problems but just recently (3wks) all I seem to get Is problems with uploading (Upload Fail) Now I've searched & searched for some kind of answer to this problem and Can I  get answer....NO!!

Bit of background on me and My Problem,I converted from Apple (3/3G/4/4S had apple from the beginning)  to the z10 because of its amazing camera and OS/Hub but I Now find myself seriously considering going back to apple as Videos are my business and if I can't upload to YouTube & FaceBook whilst out on location and yet I can with my partners Iphone then maybe I have no option but revert back to Iphone. Hopefully some one will have an answer for me as I love the Z10 but Im loosing Patience .

Re: Z10 video Upload

Based on what you have provided, it is very difficult to diagnose anything. For example, are you using WiFi or carrier data network to attempt this? Further, are you using an app or a web browser interface? And, is "Upload Fail" the exact and complete content of the error message presented? Since we cannot see you or your device, we depend 100% on what you tell us...and hence that needs to be complete so that we can properly understand...

Nevertheless, anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

  • Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
  • BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. If this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.

See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Good luck!
