can't copy informaton from my Blackberry 9930 to my new blackberry Z10

I tried to copy my passwords from my old 9930 to my new Z10 using the Blackbery link software, but it says the 9930 is not supported.  I just updated the Blackberry link software to 1.1 but it still does not work.

The 9930 is running the latest software, 7.1.0.755

I need to be able to copy all of the data from the 9930 to the new Z10 or I can't use the Z10.

This is an urgent issue.

So the Link app is saying that particular device isn't supported? Or are you just getting an error when you attempt to copy the data?

backup your 9930 using the Desktop Software.

Restore that backup file using the Link software with your Z10 connected.

That doesn't work as the Z10 can't see the 9930 backup files

waldmani, have you looked in Link > click on your device at bottom > click onRestore  > click on Legacy device files?

Or, do you have Protect installed on your 9930 and making backups?
