for the last 3 days trying to transfer my Contact list from my old BB Torch 8900 to my new Z 10 and still having problems. Impossible to transfer that contact list. anyone could help Please? Thanks in advance

Connect the devices via bluetooth. There will be an option to send your contacts. Works great

Hi, tried this one but didn't work. only one contact out of >1400 went through. have you managed to make this transfer? any specific tools required for the whole contact list? Thank you for your suport. Cheers

Hmmm...did you:
1pair the devices via bt
2 on torch, go to manage connections, networks and connections. bt connectolns,
3. under paired devices choose the z10,
4. In the pop up Window, choose transfer contacts

That is exactly how I did it FWIW, and it took quite a while for all of the contacts to finally transfer between devices (over 700 of them.) So my suggestion is to start this process with both devices plugged in to chargers and let them go (overnight worked for me.)

I also noticed that some of the contacts did not make it into my contact list, however a search from the universal search on the home page did reveal that the .vcf (vCard Files) were on the device and clicking them put them into my contact list.

I guess by mail you can transfer your contact to another device. If you have email on Tourch then setup the same mail on the Z10. And it works with me

I've tried this method to transfer contacts and it will only send the first contact only.  I don't understand why this is happening.  Is there something else I need to do to allow all of the contacts to be sent over? 

My torch is a 9800 running BBOS 6.  Is this a limitation of the BBOS 6?

It is possible that it is an OS6 limitation.. I am not sure.

did that one but it is only sending 1 contact. tthis is strange cause on my torch I have all my contact sent but on my z 10 only one contact received. i'm really going crazy with this phone. I've sent many msgs to Blackberry but they are Silent on this issue. only solution is to return it back and switch to Iphone.

have also done this one and only one contact is going through. went to BB dealer and they tried for over 3 hours and couldn't find a way. this is not the only situation they are facing. BB has a real problem on transfering contact list and wonder why.
