Well, my Z10 was rebooting right out of the box, with nothing additional installed or deleted. I exchanged it after 3 weeks, and my new phone has not rebooted yet after two weeks. I can find no difference between the two phones that I've had in terms of software. Bizarre. Anwyay, I'm now fully loving my Z10.

Glad to hear of your success, HappyDog. That doesn't necessarily prove it was a h/w problem though. What seems to you as two identical configurations - may not be. I wish it was as simple as a bad batch of components, etc., because then a swap would solve the problem. But the variance of those having this problem is too great for it to just be a bad batch of phones, etc.
FYI - I went a few days w/o a reboot after hte maps update, but had a reboot this afternoon while the charger was plugged in (overnight, bedside mode). Oh well. Will try a few other things when I have some time.

The wipe, etc., seems most promising and would be consistant with losing the issue with a new handset. But there are in fact likely different "versions" of restarts. My last Android phone would randomly (like every five or six days) restart. Then chill. Also, with my Android, one version of the OS was subject to a lot more random restarts (the version I had) and the "fix" was either to leave debugging mode on or off, I can't recall which. But for those who had the restart problem, this seemed to solve it. But on my Z10, every five days or so, I'll get a restart... is it the same restart issue or something else?

As promised, I report to the forum: there is no difference to the behavior with 3g or without. I had two reboot's without 3g, so I will change my Z10 again. It' s the last try.
I am not sure what I will do, if there is no success. I love it, but my phone of in case of trouble?

printe, what OS release is running on your device, and have you wiped and NOT restored the "app data" portion of the backup?

Well, I am on my fourth Z10 and didn't notice the reboot issue with the first three.
However, on this one (a factory unlocked STL100-3 that were given out from Brightstar) running 10.1.0.273 on Virgin Mobile Canada (Bell), I'm not soo lucky. And of course, as I didn't get it from a carrier, I don't know if Virgin will help me or not.
Twice this week, I have plugged my Z10 in overnight and it has rebooted PLUS it seems that after the reboot, even though it is plugged in, it is not charging as the battery was at about 50% in the morning and running Battery Guru showed that while it was reading plugged in, it wasn't taking any power.
As an addiitonal nice bonus, it seems after both of these reboots, the Z10 suddenly becomes unresponsive (screen black but blinking notification light) and nothing on the Z10 works outside of holding the power button to force another reboot.
Frustrating. I guess I'll either try a software reinstall or try one of the leadked OS' to see if that fixes it.

Guess I'll go the leaked OS route to see if it fixes it then. Don't know why I'm more worried about doing it on the Z10 as I did it all the time with BBOS phones.
