sometimes charging indicator will not show on the phone

[ Edited ]

I seem to have problem with charging blackberry Z10, sometime charging indicator will not show on the phone. It is not a question of not firmly pushing the mini usb into slot or not making good contact. I am using the original blackberry charger. Anyone out there the same issue?

Re: sometimes charging indicator will not show on the phone

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

This is indeed a common issue. Sometimes, it is just a matter of waiting, other times it requires removal and reinsertion of the cable. But it is quite common indeed. Hopefully they will address it in an upcoming OS release.

Good luck!

Re: sometimes charging indicator will not show on the phone

I just posted the same question just a while ago, and now I see this is common!  This indicates to me more that it is a software or firmware problem with the battery management rather than the connector. I also saw this happen on another Z10.
