speaker glitch?

Hi, I just got my z10 a few days ago and today I encountered this glitch twice. There was no sound coming from my phone, I played videos, music, games, typing and I even tried calling my phone. There was no sound at all and it is on a normal mode, volume was maxed, and no blue tooth handset. I had to restart it to make it work normally. Is my handset a defective one?

Re: speaker glitch?

It is a known issue. It happens when you get several messages that come in at once and try to play notifications for them all. It kills the sound altogether. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Re: speaker glitch?

Can it be fixed through a software update?

Re: speaker glitch?

It can. It just hasn't yet.
