trouble sending email

One of my email providers is Network Solutions and I cant send email form that account.  Niether they or Blackberry is very helpful.  has anyone else seen this?  if so, were you able to work around it?

POP or IMAP email server?

Were you able to previously and then it stopped working, or have you never been able to get it working?

It's a POP server and I can receive mail fine. The y gave me a series of ports to try (2525, 587, 25 and 80)m none of which worked. We also went through my server address settings which are the same as on my PlayBook.

I had the same issue with my Network solutions email, there is  workaround until the problem is fixed.  I am not a tech person and my carrier is rogers, so forgive me for using rogers for, but my understanding is that you just substitute your carrier for rogers on the outgoing server:

 

Username - youremail@yourdomain.com

Email Address - youremail@yourdomain.com

Password - Your password

Server Address - mail.yourdomain.com

Port - 110

SSL - off

SMTP user name - leave blank

SMTP Password - leave blank

SMTP server address - smtp.rogerswirelessdata.com

SMTP encryption - off.

 

Not ideal, but at least you can use your email.
