z10 Charing problems

Serious problems with z10 charging. Was working well last night, then this morning absolutely nothing. red/amber light flashing to indicate it needs charging.  Plug it in, nothing.  Slowly removed cord and reinserted into the wall....nothing.  Removed battery 4 times.  Left battery out for 2.5 hours.  It wasn't until I hooked up a computer that I finally got the blackberry signal, then the alarm that was set for 6AM went off at 11:36 AM.  Intermittent charging to phone. 

Had battery problem first 3 days. Removed battery, waited a few minutes, reinsert and it worked.  What's the problem?  battery? Phone? charging cable?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Actually, any of the thoughts you have for causality are possible...to test, of course, you must obtain "known good" replacements.

But, this problem was very common at first release, but got better with later OS levels. Have you updated? What version are you on?
