Okay, so.This is my first time using this computer with the BlackBerry I've never created a backup file with the blackberry on this computer. I only pressed the "restore device data", if there's another way to wipe the device I'm not sure how to do it, sorry. Also, my apologies for the confusion!

You cannot restore device data without having first made a backup of the device data.

 

If you are trying to WIPE the device, that is an entirely different process.

Click the upper right gears icon, and then below you will see a choice to RELOAD DEVICE SOFTWARE, and that will wipe and reset the device to factory settings.
