Re: z10 blackberry

There have been issues transferring data in many cases. I suggest calling your carrier and having them escalate your case to BlackBerry. The more the issue gets logged the faster it will get fixed.

Re: z10 blackberry

To be clear - BB Link is a pretty pointless peice of SW at the moment. All it does is copy pictures, videos, and files back and forth between the Z10 and computer. I could easily do this by treating the phone as a drive. It says it transfers calendar etc from you old BB, but it doesn't.

Well, it actually can do this, but it's so glitchy and has so many common problems doing so that it is practically worthless in this regard. It is possible... I was able to finally transfer my own memos and tasks and some other databases, but never contacts and calendar.

Contacts?

Memos (look in Remember!)?

Tasks (look in Remember!)?

Browser bookmarks?

OK, well those items above transferred over fine for me (except for the contacts).

So, we really can't say that Link is useless for anything other than media, if you haven't used it for other items. Because the capablility is certainly there.
