Hiding Sent Messages

Why can I not always Hide Sent messages ? I go to three dots at bottom, Settings and Display and Actions. Then next to "Show Sent Messages" I say "off". But sent messages are there

Re: Hiding Sent Messages

I have a distinct recollection of that issue being part of some of the original BB10 versions, but I thought that the Z30 was provided with a more recent version, with that issue resolved. But, you'd have to tell us your OS level in order for us to make any guess about that.

Re: Hiding Sent Messages

Hmmm...I'm 99% certain that problem was fixed by that OS level. Hence, all I can think is that you try more drastic fixes. Be sure to start with a full backup.

  1. You can try a WIPE and see if it clears up.
  2. You can try an OS reload via LINK
  3. You can try moving beyond what LINK offers you via AutoLoader

Also be careful with restoring from backup...be sure to test out each time prior to actually conducting a restore. In some circumstances, the backup file actually contains some corruption, and that gets reintroduced via restore.

Good luck!

Re: Hiding Sent Messages

It is fixed with 429. Not sure why yours are not hiding.
You'll have an upgrade coming soon, hopefully.
