Touch screen sensitivity

On my new blackberry z30 it seems I have to swipe several times before it takes effect.  I looked for a setting thinking there must be one for touchscreen sensitivity, but don't see this anywhere.  Does anyone else have this issue and any way to resolve it?

Re: Touch screen sensitivity

There is not a setting... just make sure you are swiping by starting ON the bottom black bezel (if you're asking about swiping to awake the device, as in your other thread).

Re: Touch screen sensitivity

thanks for this info!  Yes, I know to wake it up I need to start from the bottom.  But, let's say I'm in an email and want to swipe backwards to get to hub or something like that.  Many times I have to swipe several times from the side to do this.  Is there somewhere on the left side that I need to start from?

When you have an email open, and you swipe rightwards [>>>] is the email not moving at all, dragging part of the way and bouncing back open?

Re: Touch screen sensitivity

Re: Touch screen sensitivity

I do find that intersting, still. My screen is so smooth and easy to swipe.

Do you have screen protector on it, or not? I do.

Re: Touch screen sensitivity

I have noticed that my screen is so easy to swipe too. Love it.  I was told in the Verizon store by a sales clerk that the only way to wake the phone up it to use the button on top. Also told there was no place for a micro card. These people have no clue.

Because so many other devices (iPhone) do not, they think BlackBerry wouldn't have it either, and they are so poorly trained.
